C’est là qu’est né le Groupe Medvedkine, réunissant des ouvriers-cinéastes, grâce notamment au soutien de Pol Cèbe (ouvrier militant), du CCPPO et du réalisateur Chris Marker.
I am working as producer for the documentary called « Rhodiaceta burns in Eastman Kodak », teaser above. This is a sensitive portrait of a old factory, Rhodiaceta, where the Medvedkin Group was born in 1967. It has been proved, as we remember something, the memory of it change… The more we remember ourselves and the more the truth is reconstructed to create something different. Memory as the act of creation. But sometimes the memory settles and shows itself on film. From 1967, a unique audiovisual social experience is born, showing their dreams, claiming the right to exist in an other way. The camera as a weapon, as an act of resistance on the labor condition.
